Features to look for in an easy-to-use mobile phone for you or an elderly relative:

SOS Emergency Button

Another very useful feature, which can be life-saving is having an SOS Button. The SOS or emergency function calls pre-programmed numbers at the touch of one button. Simply program the phone with up to 5 phone numbers (relatives or friends and or emergency services). So if someone has a fall or becomes poorly all they need to do is just press the SOS button once, it then calls each person in turn whilst activating the loudspeaker allowing you to talk hands-free to get help.

Large Screen Flip Phone

If the mobile is for someone who has poor eyesight then opt for a large screen. The screen should be illuminated making the display easy to read.
